At Pinewoods, we seek to minister the grace and freedom that comes from having a relationship with Jesus Christ. It is important to us that everyone has a growing experience with God, being encouraged and challenged in their faith journey. As a church we offer ministry programs that are geared towards the development of people into quality disciples for Jesus Christ. We believe that the discipleship process starts with our young children. Our Children's ministry is designed to help children understand God's Word and apply it to their life. We have small groups for the adults to facilitate discipleship and mentoring. Our youth group offers teens the opportunity to learn about the life changing message of God's Word through fun activities and small group discipleship that is appropriate to the challenges teenagers face.
As a community focused church we are involved in the town of Angus helping spread the message of Jesus Christ. During the week we have people volunteering at the local public schools in their breakfast programs. Youth for Christ has a center in Angus called 'the Door'. Members of our congregation serve there in a volunteer capacity helping work with the youth. We also support foriegn missionaries involved in mission work all over the world.
