Blossom is a one-day women's conference that some attendees have described as a "spa for the spirit". The Blossom worship team will lead us into times of worship with music, followed by a keynote speaker. During the day there are optional workshops to choose from, and a delicious lunch is served. We also have a special workshop for teen girls. Ladies gather from all over Ontario to attend this special event. Women pour out so much in their lives- this is an opportunity to get filled up and refreshed.
The fourth annual BLOSSOM women's conference will be held at Living Faith in Baxter this year. The cost is only $25 on or before October 1st. Ater October 1st the cost is $35. The conference will be on Saturday October 23rd and will have a variety of seminars to choose from. The topics are listed below the keynote infomation. Nursing infants are welcome. There will be a book table from the Treasure House to give you access to helpful resources.
Janet Surette - Keynote speaker
Janet likes to describe herself as an imperfect but dearly loved child of Almighty God, the grateful daughter of godly parents, the cherished wife of a kind husband, the happy mother of three precious daughters, the fortunate sister of two noble women and the blessed companion of dear Christian friends!
After a career in marketing and adult education, Janet cherishes the years she is able to invest herself full-time in raising her children and managing her home to be an oasis for her family and a center for God’s work in their lives. Second only to loving her family, she finds great delight in leading Bible & book studies, mentoring women, speaking for women’s events, and loving her local church.
For fun, Janet plays competitive volleyball. She does the monkey bars with her daughters at the park. And as long as she goes to the bathroom first, she can still execute some impressive tricks on their trampoline! She lives in
Janet loves the Word of God and cherishes every opportunity to speak about the perfection and wisdom of God’s design as it comes to bear on all the areas of our lives as women.

“How to Budget” Rowan Atkinson
This is a hands-on, practical workshop on how to budget in your personal finances. Bring a calculator & a list of bills(for your own eyes only). Prior to coming, take a look at your bank statements and credit card bills (and track your cash spending at Timmies!)and tally up your actual spending in areas such as food, clothing, restaurants, etc.
